A freak mishap at the shooting of Rajinikanth starrer ‘Kuselan’ sent shockwaves among the cast and crew of the movie including Rajinikanth on Monday.

When a song sequence was being shot on Rajinikanth and Nayantara in Kuttanad in Kerala's Alappuzha district Monday, cameraman Aravind Krishna fell and sprained his ankle.

When the cinematographer tried to jump from one boat to another in a lake where the song was being picturised, he suddenly fell down. He has been admitted to the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital.

For some time the shooting was suspended, and his associate Karunamoorthy took over later in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, more than 20,000 people turned up to watch the shoot and to have a glimpse of the Rajinikanth.
